The Board of Education of Brookwood School District 167 will hold a public hearing on a proposal for a modification of the mandate of Section 24-2 of the School Code that a school holiday must be held on February 12, President Abraham Lincoln’s Birthday and November 11, Veteran’s Day each year.  The proposed modification would exempt the District from the requirement.
